My name is Brendan May, and I am the Principal of St. Paul American School in Beijing. I joined SPAS in January 2019. I am a Texas certified teacher and administrator. I was a teacher and school administrator in Texas for 12 years before moving into international education, working in China and Saudi Arabia. I have taught elementary, middle school and high school classes and enjoy working with students of all ages. I became an educator to help make the world a better place. I believe we have an opportunity to help our students become successful leaders and influencers of the future. I understand both American education and International students, and I know at St. Paul American School we are preparing our students for success.

The Vision of Saint Paul American School is to be a community of life-long learners whose graduate and transfer students demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and values necessary to succeed in the global community.
The Mission of Saint Paul American School is to provide a quality education that empowers students with life-long learning skills and prepares students for professional success in the global community by displaying content mastery, cultural literacy, critical thinking, communication skills, and personal & social responsibility.
St. Paul American School is proud to be an NCA accredited school. What an NCA accreditation means?
"While accreditation is a set of rigorous protocols and research-based processes for evaluating an institution’s organizational effectiveness, it is far more than that. Today accreditation examines the whole institution—the programs, the cultural context, the community of stakeholders—to determine how well the parts work together to meet the needs of students." http://www.advanc-ed.org/
